The NACC RV Insurance Program provides the following benefits, specifically for recreational vehicles:
Accidental loss or damage to your vehicle or van, cover includes all fixed accessories, fittings and/or appliances anywhere in Australia
Accidental breakage of windscreen and glass cover
Towing and storage cover as a result of an accident
24hr Emergency Towing assistance as a result of an electrical or mechanical breakdown - Phone 1800 731 912 and tell them you are with the KTA RV Insurance scheme.
Hire of replacement vehicle if your vehicle is stolen
Third party legal liability property damage cover for $20,000,000
Up to $500 emergency temporary repairs cover
Repatriation costs to return to family home after major accident
Alternative accommodation cover while vehicle is being repaired after a coverable accident or loss
Cover for your tinnies and inflatable dinghies
Automatic $2,000 contents and personal belongings cover whilst contained within your vehicle or van.

What to do if your vehicle has an electrical or mechanical breakdown and you require a tow:
You can do one of two things.
1. Organise the tow yourself if you are happy to do so, or alternatively
2. Telephone our Emergency Towing Assistance number 1800 731 912 (24 hour service) to arrange for a tow to the nearest repairer.
For both of the above you will need to pay the towing account and then forward the account to Ken Tame & Associates who will reimburse you up to the policy limit of $600 for any one tow, and $1,000 for any two tows in the one policy period.
What to do in the event of an accident:
(a) AT THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT
Make the scene safe and help any injured persons
Write down full details of any other vehicle/s involved
Do not admit liability or offer payment to any other party concerned
Write down names, addresses and telephone numbers of all witnesses
Take photographs of the scene or vehicle damage if necessary
Notify the police immediately if any person/s injured
(b) IF THE VEHICLE IS DRIVABLE
Continue on your journey and at the next most opportune time contact Ken Tame & Assoc to report the claim and receive instructions on what is required to arrange repairs.
(d) IF THE VEHICLE IS NOT DRIVABLE
If a tow truck is in attendance, arrange to be towed into a repairer at the nearest town.
Alternatively call our 24hr Towing Assistance 1800 731 912 to arrange for towing assistance.
If emergency accommodation is required please arrange to keep receipts and we will reimburse you upon presentation of those receipts.
At the next most opportune time contact Ken Tame & Assoc to report the claim and receive instructions on what is required to arrange repairs.
